Destination Description Day 1: Fly to San Jose. You will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your hotel. This evening enjoy a romantic dinner at Monte de La Cruz with a great San Jose valley view. (D)
Day 2: Depart San Jose and enjoy the picturesque drive north to San Carlos. In route see sugar cane and coffee plantations as we pass through Alajuela province. Next you arrive at the Arenal Volcano, one of the most active in the world, with its steaming, rumbling cone and spewing lava. After hotel check in grab your swim suit for an evening visit to the Tabacon or Baldi Hot Springs. Enjoy natural hot mineral pools and waterfalls. (B, D)
Day 3: Today we have an Arenal Volcano National Park sightseeing tour Arenal Volcano erupted in 1968 with a fury of molten rocks, lava and ash, and has continued with its rumblings and firework display ever since. Arenal’s perfect cone dominates the setting of the area witch is one of Costa Rica’s most popular attractions. (B)
Day 4: We leave today on the Arenal Lake boat ride then 4x4 around and up the mountain to Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Monteverde is Costa Rica’s premier cloud forest. After check in at your hotel the rest of your day is free to explore your surroundings. (B)
Day 5: Today fly over the cloud forest canopy…Sky Trek is a system of cables or zip lines that allow you to observe the landscape from many different views while offering total security of its modern technology. You also see a panoramic view of the Arenal Lake and volcano. Also suspension bridges over the cloud forest…Sky Walk, allow the visitor to safety appreciate the rich diversity of the canopy flora ´n´ fauna. Sky Walk is 1.2 miles of trails and suspensions bridges located at different heights in the cloud forest of Monteverde. (Entrance fee included) (B)
Day 6: Today we head for Tamarindo Beach at the North Pacific Coast. Enjoy an All Inclusive Resort near Langosta Beach. (B, L, D, S)
Day 7: Enjoy one more day at one of Guanacaste beautiful beaches. Tamarindo Beach is world renowned for thousands of sea turtles, white sand beaches, surfing and sport fishing. (B, L, D, S)
Day 8: Ground transfer to your hotel in San Jose. (B)
Day 9: Transfer OUT for your return flight (B)
